The Office of Communication and Public Relations at Qatar University serves as the official liaison between the university and its various audiences, including students, faculty, staff, media, and the general public. Our office is responsible for managing the university's reputation, enhancing its visibility, and communicating its achievements to local and international stakeholders.

Our Vision

The Department of Communication and Public Relations contributes to promoting the vision of Qatar University through consolidating and establishing its image and reputation by employing various communication, events and activities to boost the QU image and implement its strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Media Relations

Serve as the official media contact for Qatar University
Prepare and distribute press releases and media advisories
Coordinate media interviews with university leadership
Organize press conferences and media events

Internal Communications

Develop and distribute university-wide announcements
Produce employee newsletters and communications
Manage crisis communications
Facilitate leadership messaging

Brand Management

Maintain and enforce university branding guidelines
Oversee the university's visual identity system
Manage trademark licensing and compliance
Develop marketing and promotional materials
