    Research Forum 2018

    University’s nine colleges, centers and institutes; including partners and stakeholders, to assess and review the institution’s research enterprise. This year’s high profile event will be extended to two days and will feature theory grounded discussions, and original research presentations. It is an occasion to demonstrate new tools, or report on the implementation of new programs, collaborations, innovations and other relevant projects that take bearing from the QU Research Roadmap 2014 - 2019, Qatar National Research Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030.

    It offers Qatar University the opportunity to demonstrate how it has been addressing the community’s challenges through research anchored on a vibrant partnership with industry and various other stakeholders, including institutions and research centers. Through this, the University aims to achieve research-driven learning, discovery and entrepreneurship. The event also provides leverage for QU faculty and students to be able to access how to make maximum use of opportunities offered by the respective partners.

    The forum will also highlight the important and award winning research being conducted at Qatar University that promotes the vision of the University and supports the research priorities of Qatar in the areas of Water Security, Energy Security, Cyber Security, Social Priorities and Health; and the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

    Academia and Industry Collaboration: Pathway to Innovation and Entrepreneurship
    Research Forum 2016

    The Qatar University Annual Research Forum is a high profile event that targets members of the QU community – students, researchers, academics and partners. A one-day event featuring presentations, discussions and poster gallery, it represents a unique opportunity for participants to showcase their research through posters, interactive presentations, exhibits, and personal discussions with their colleagues and other scholars.

    QUARF '16 is an occasion to present original research, demonstrate new tools, or report on the implementation of new programs, collaborations, innovations and other relevant projects that take bearing from the QU Research Roadmap, Qatar National Research Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030.

    For QUARF '16, projects to be exhibited will be based exclusively on the four main priority areas of Roadmap of Research at Qatar University 2014-2019. Those are: Energy, Environment and Resource Sustainability; Social Change and Identity; Population, Health and Wellness; and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
