In order to consider the monthly financial aid application, the following documents should be uploaded within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service:

1. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
2. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Cards for the guardian and the family members from both sides in one PDF file. (It might include birth certificate of a newborn child, marriage certificates of other wives of the guardian, a letter from an educational institution to prove that a brother/sister aged 24 or above is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student, and any other documentation required explaining the structure of the family).
3. The total-salary certificate of the guardian does not exceed three months from the date of issuance.
   • For Qatari father, the salary certificate should include the monthly deduction related to the retirement pension. In addition, the student can submit a letter from the Qatar Development Bank to show the amount of monthly deductions related to the government-funded housing loan.
4. In case the guardian is working in the private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
   • In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during the last six months through the guardian’s bank account: submit a bank statement for the last 6 months to prove the guardian's salary mentioned in the salary certificate.
   • In case of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during the last six months through the guardian’s bank account: submit the following documents:
     • Bank statement(s) for the last 6 months.
     • A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau.
     • Copy of the notarized work contract.
5. In case the mother is working, submit her total-salary certificate that does not exceed three months from the date of issuance. For Qatari mother, the salary certificate should include the monthly deduction related to the retirement pension. Also, submit the documents mentioned in point (4) for the mother in case of working in the private sector.
6. A valid authenticated rent contract by the ministry of municipality (if there is rent payment by the guardian but it is not mandatory).
7. Newly issued “To Whom It May Concern” letter that includes the student bank account number from the bank.
8. Copy of appreciation certificates to prove that the student has obtained one of the co-curricular student awards, if any but it is not mandatory.
9. A letter issued by the sports activities department to prove the student’s enrollment in one of the QU sports teams, in case the student is enrolled in any of them but it is not mandatory.

In order for an international student, who has a QU external scholarship that includes monthly salary benefit, to be eligible for monthly salary, the following documents should be uploaded within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service:

• A copy of the student Qatari valid Identity Card from both sides in one PDF file.
• Newly issued “To Whom It May Concern” letter that includes the student bank account number from the bank.

In order to consider the Tuition Fees For Registered Courses Aid, Housing Fees Aid, or Transportation Fees Aid application, the following documents should be uploaded within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service:

1. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
2. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Cards for the guardian and the family members from both sides in one PDF file. (It might include birth certificate of a newborn child, marriage certificates of other wives of the guardian, a letter from an educational institution to prove that a brother/sister aged 24 or above is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student, and any other documentation required explaining the structure of the family).
3. Total-salary certificate of the guardian (the certificate must not exceed three months from the date of issuance).
4. In case the guardian is working in the private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:

3. Total-salary certificate of the guardian (the certificate does not exceed three months from the date of issuance).

In order to consider the External Funding Aid application, the student has to upload the required documents, depending on the selected External Funding Financial Aid Program, within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service.

In order to consider the Tuition Fees Payment Deferral application, the following documents should be uploaded within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service:

1. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
2. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Cards for the family members from both sides in one PDF file. (It might include birth certificate of a newborn child, marriage certificates of other wives of the guardian, a letter from an educational institution to prove that a brother/sister aged 24 or above is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student, and any other documentation required explaining the structure of the family).
3. The total-salary certificate of the guardian does not exceed three months from the date of issuance (the amount of the deductions related to any debts from the employer must be stated in the certificate).
4. In case the guardian is working in the private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
   • In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during the last six months through the guardian’s bank account: submit a bank statement for the last 6 months to prove the guardian's salary mentioned in the salary certificate.
   • In case of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during the last six months through the guardian’s bank account: submit the following documents:
     • Bank statement(s) for the last 6 months.
     • A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau.
     • Copy of the notarized work contract.
       
5. In case the mother is working, submit her total-salary certificate that does not exceed three months from the date of issuance. Also, submit the documents mentioned in point (4) for the mother in case of working in the private sector.
6. A certificate of guardian’s indebtedness from the bank, showing the monthly installment of bank loans (if any but it is not mandatory).
7. A valid authenticated rent contract by the ministry of municipality (if there is rent payment by the guardian but it is not mandatory).
8. Last three bills from Kahrama, if utilities are paid separately from rent.

In case of Qatari, Qatari Travel Document Holder, Qatari Parents, or Qatari Husband student with deceased Qatari father, the following documents should be uploaded within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service:

1. Any documents showing the distribution of the deceased father’s income. For example, an Official certificate from the Court showing the student’s share of the deceased’s salary; Salary certificate from the Retirement and Pension Authority with details of the beneficiaries of the deceased salary; or Salary certificate from the deceased previous employer.
2. A copy of the death certificate of deceased father.
3. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
4. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Cards for the student's family members from both sides in one PDF file. 1. In case the mother is working, submit the total-salary certificate of the mother that does not exceed three months from the date of issuance. Also, in case she is working in private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
   • In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit a bank statement for the last 6 months to prove the mother salary mentioned in the salary certificate.
   • In case of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit the following documents:
     • Bank statement/s for last 6 months.
     • A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau.
     • Copy of the notarized work contract.
       
2. In case the mother is not working, submit the mother’s recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau along with a bank statement for the last 6 months.
3. A copy of the death certificate of deceased father.

1. The total-salary certificate of the sponsor does not exceed three months from the date of issuance.
2. In case the sponsor is working in private sector, the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
   • In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the sponsor’s bank account: submit a bank statement for last 6 months to prove the sponsor salary mentioned in the salary certificate.
   • In case of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the sponsor’s bank account: submit the following documents:
     • Bank statement/s for last 6 months.
     • A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau.

1. A proof of submission of application for changing the employer to the related ministry.
2. A bank statement of the guardian bank account for the last 6 months.
3. A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau for the father.
4. In case the mother is working, submit the total-salary certificate of the mother that does not exceed three months from the date of issuance. Also, in case she is working in private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
   • In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit a bank statement for the last 6 months to prove the mother salary mentioned in the salary certificate.
   • In case of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit the following documents:

1. A proof of submission of application for changing the employer to the related ministry.
2. A bank statement of the student’s bank account for the last 6 months.
3. A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau for the student.
4. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
5. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Cards for the student’s family members who are under his sponsorship from both sides in one PDF file. (It might include birth certificate of any newborn child, marriage certificates of any other resident wives, letter from an educational institution to prove that a son/daughter aged 24 or above is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student to be considered a family member, and any other documentation required to establish the structure of the family).

In case, Qatari guardian is unemployed, the following documents should be uploaded within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service:

1. Bank Statement of the student’s guardian for the last six months.
2. A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau for the guardian.
3. To Whom It May Concern letter issued by the civil Service and Governmental Development Bureau that prove the guardian is not working in a government institution.
4. A certificate from social security proving that the guardian is not receiving the social security pension.
5. In case the mother is working, submit her total-salary certificate that does not exceed three months from the date of issuance. For Qatari mother, the salary certificate should include the monthly deduction related to the retirement pension. Also, in case she is working in private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
   • In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit a bank statement for the last 6 months to prove the mother salary mentioned in the salary certificate.
   • In case of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit the following documents:
     • Bank statement/s for last 6 months.

In case, Qatari student was working and resigned, the following documents should be uploaded within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service:

1. Bank Statement of the student for the last six months.
2. A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau for the student.
3. To Whom It May Concern letter issued by the civil Service and Governmental Development Bureau that prove the student is not working in a government institution.
4. In case it was approved that the student has no source of fixed income according to the points from (1) to (3), we will return to request the required documents according to the father and mother working condition.
5. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
6. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Cards for the guardian and the family members from both sides in one PDF file. (It might include birth certificate of any newborn child, marriage certificates of any other guardian’s resident wives, letter from an educational institution to prove that a brother/sister or a son/daughter aged 24 or above is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student to be considered a family member, and any other documentation required to establish the structure of the family).

The Non-Qatari guardian or student is under company/ institution’s sponsorship but unemployed

In case, Non-Qatari guardian or student him/herself is under the sponsorship of an institution or company but unemployed (no salary) due to termination, medical reasons, or financial difficulties facing the employer, the following documents should be uploaded within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service:

1. In case the student is under sponsorship of an institution or company but unemployed:
   • All Bank Statements of the student for the last six months.
   • A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau for the student.
   • A copy of a termination letter or a letter that explains the student non-payment of the salary from the employer due to medical reasons or financial difficulties facing the company, attaching all documents that help to prove this situation.
   • Copy of the company valid establishment card.
   • Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
   • Newly issued “To Whom It May Concern” letter that includes the student bank account number from the bank for monthly financial aid applicants.
   • A valid student authenticated rent contract by the ministry of municipality (if there is rent payment but it is not mandatory).
   • Copy of appreciation certificates to prove that the student has obtained one of the co-curricular student awards, if any but it is not mandatory.
   • A letter issued by the sports activities department to prove the student’s enrollment in one of the QU sports teams, in case the student is enrolled in any of them but it is not mandatory.

2. In case the student is under the father’s sponsorship and the mother is working:
   • All Bank Statements of the guardian for the last six months.

   • A copy of a termination letter or a letter that explains the guardian non-payment of the salary from the employer due to medical reasons or financial difficulties facing the company, attaching all documents that help to prove this situation.
   • Copy of the company valid establishment card.
   • In case the mother is working, submit her total-salary certificate that does not exceed three months from the date of issuance. Also, in case she is working in private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
     • In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit a bank statement for the last 6 months to prove the mother salary mentioned in the salary certificate.
     • In case of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit the following documents:
       • Mother’s Bank statement/s for last 6 months.
       • A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau for the mother.
       • Copy of the mother’s notarized work contract.

In case the student’s parents are divorced, the following documents should be uploaded within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service:

In case the guardian is Qatari or non-Qatari father:

1. The court divorce verdict declaring the name of the guardian.
2. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
3. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Cards for the father and jobless family members who are under the guardian’s custody from both sides in one PDF file. (It might include birth certificate of any newborn child, marriage certificates of any father’s other resident wives, letter from an educational institution to prove that a brother/sister aged 24 or above is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student to be considered a family member, and any other documentation required to establish the structure of the family).
4. The total-salary certificate of the guardian does not exceed three months from the date of issuance (For Qatari father, the salary certificate should include the monthly deduction related to the retirement pension. Also, the student can submit a letter from the Qatar Development Bank to show the amount of monthly deductions related to the government-funded housing loan).
5. In case the guardian working in the private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
   • In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the guardian’s bank account: submit a bank statement for the last 6 months to prove the guardian salary mentioned in the salary certificate.
   • In case of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the guardian’s bank account: submit the following documents:
   • Bank statement/s for last 6 months.
   • A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau.
   • Copy of the notarized work contract.
     
6. Newly issued “To Whom It May Concern” letter that includes the student bank account number from the bank for monthly financial aid applicants.
7. A valid authenticated rent contract by the ministry of municipality (if there is rent payment by the guardian but it is not mandatory).
8. Copy of appreciation certificates to prove that the student has obtained one of the co-curricular student awards, if any but it is not mandatory.
9. A letter issued by the sports activities department to prove the student’s enrollment in one of the QU sports teams, in case the student is enrolled in any of them but it is not mandatory.
10. In case of inability to submit any of the above-required documents for any reason, please contact the Student Financial Services Section Staffs through the communication channels mentioned in the contact us page.
11. The Section may ask for any other additional documents showing the financial circumstances of the student or his/her family.

In case the guardian is Qatari mother:

1. The court divorce verdict declaring the name of the guardian.
2. A letter from the court that proves the amount of alimony for the children.
3. In case the mother is working, submit her total-salary certificate that does not exceed three months from the date of issuance. It should include the monthly deduction related to the retirement pension. Also, in case she is working in private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
   • In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during last six months through the mother’s bank account: submit a bank statement for the last 6 months to prove the mother salary mentioned in the salary certificate.

The (female) student divorce case

In the case of a divorced female student, the following documents should be uploaded within the financial aid online application through Banner self-service before the deadline for the intended service:

1. The court divorce verdict declaring the name of the guardian.
2. A letter from the court that proves the amount of alimony for children in case the student has children or a recently issued total salary certificate of the student's father if there are no children for the student or alimony.
3. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Card for the student from both sides in one PDF file.
4. Copy of the Qatari valid Identity Cards for the jobless family members who are under the student's custody or the father’s custody if there are no children for the student or alimony from both sides in one PDF file (including birth certificate of any newborn child, and any other documentation required to establish the structure of the family).
5. Newly issued “To Whom It May Concern” letter that includes the student bank account number from the bank for monthly financial aid applicants.
6. A valid authenticated rent contract by the ministry of municipality (if there is rent payment by the student - or the guardian if there are no children or alimony - but it is not mandatory).

2. In case the guardian is working in the private sector, submit the following documents along with the salary certificate according to one of these two conditions:
   • In case of regular receipt of the monthly salary during the last six months through the guardian’s bank account: submit a bank statement for the last 6 months to prove the guardian's salary mentioned in the salary certificate.
   • In case of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during the last six months through the guardian’s bank account: submit the following documents:
     • Bank statement/s for the last 6 months.
     • A recently issued report from the Qatar Credit Bureau.
     • Copy of the notarized work contract.

7. A valid authenticated rent contract by the related ministry in his/her original country (if there is rent payment by the guardian but it is not mandatory).
8. Copy of appreciation certificates to prove that the student has obtained one of the co-curricular student awards, if any but it is not mandatory.
9. A letter issued by the sports activities department to prove the student’s enrollment in one of the QU sports teams, in case the student is enrolled in any of them but it is not mandatory.
