Co-Curricular Transcript Section
Qatar University is committed to student success and the student experience. The University recognizes that engagement in co-curricular activities promotes holistic student development that synthesizes learning from a variety of contexts inside and outside of the classroom.
The Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) provides a centralized database of activities that lets students easily search for opportunities to develop their interests, self-developed learning goals, and career aspirations by connecting classroom learning to experiences outside the classroom.
CO-CURRICULAR PROGRAM WILL:
- Enrich your university experience beyond the classroom.
- Complement your degree and personalize your experience.
- Demonstrate personal, professional, and people skills to employers and graduate schools.
All activities recognized on the CCT must meet the following criteria:
- Be listed under one of the following categories:
- Educational, Leadership, and Skill-Development Programs: (e.g.: conferences, workshops, seminars, certificate programs, student exchange programs and service learning trips—national or international);
- Student Leadership Positions (e.g.: in student clubs and organizations, student organizing committees for events, and activities and sports);
- Community Engagement and Service (volunteering, community service and volunteer training);
- Honors and Awards (Awards that are not recognized on the academic transcript—e.g.: Student Life Awards);
- Academic Opportunities (opportunities offered by academic departments/clubs/colleges that are academic in nature, but not required for degree credit; e.g.: scientific research funded by Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), presenting at scientific conferences, Microsoft imagine cup, Shell eco-marathon, etc.);
- Student Employment (e.g.: positions with clearly specified job titles, job descriptions, learning/performance outcomes, regular training, assessment and mentoring); and Other Categories.
- Meet minimum time requirements as determined by the Activity/Event/Club/Program staff supervisor in accordance with international standards and consultation with the head of the SLS division, or as stated below:
- Leadership positions (club officer, president, etc.) within student organizations and clubs must have held the position for at least one academic semester.
- All other activities must have a minimum number of hours required per activity.
- Must be Co-Curricular in nature (unique out-of-class experience), non-credit bearing and not required for degree completion.
- Must be approved and validated by designated faculty/staff/advisor.
- Must be approved and validated by the CCT Advisory Board.
- Must have clearly stated, meaningful learning outcomes that are developmentally appropriate for the level of the activity.
- Must support and foster personal growth through experience.
- Must be open and available to all current QU students.
- Membership/participation in a club, organization, or event will not be included on the CCT—only significant roles and/or experiences apply.

Prior to requesting an official copy of your Co-Curricular Transcript, please review your unofficial CCT at ENGAGE. Once you have confirmed that your information is accurate and all of your approved entries are listed, please complete the online Co-Curricular Transcript Request Form Or visit our office at:

Please allow 3-5 business days for your CCT request to be processed.
The right of privacy is of utmost importance and, therefore, confidentially will be maintained. The official Co-Curricular Transcript will only be released to the student. Copies will not be sent directly to employers or graduate schools. Transcript(s) can either be mailed to the student or the student can pick up the official copies in person from the CCT department at Women’s Activity building office 224 or Male Activities Building Office 108.
