- Preserve the psychological, health and other information (current or previous) that the student shares during the session, where it is kept confidential at all times.
- This information is not shared with anyone inside or outside the Center, unless the student agrees in writing.
- When a student wishes to release his or her information in the center, he/she must sign a written approval (with the completed form filled out in advance), specifying the type of information and the party that they wish to share it with.
- The information of a student's presence or absence from the student counseling center cannot be provided to any party without the written consent of the student (fill out a form).
- In case there is no written consent to release the information to the particular party, the director or his representative in the center can evaluate the application according to its importance and then edit it with justification.
The policy is subject to the following exceptions:
- When the student poses a danger to his/herself.
- When the student poses a danger to others or property.
- When information is required by law.
- When the information is significant to provide treatment to those in medical cases (physical or psychological) need them, and the Director of the Center or an authorized representative releases the information to the concerned party.
- Enhance students' success through self-development, psychological well-being, and academic support.
- Provide students with guidance and support to overcome the difficulties they may face during their educational and personal journey.
- Increase awareness of the availability of psychological services for all students to optimize students' engagement.

- Confidentiality in group counseling is a shared responsibility between the group leader and all members.
- Each member of the group must agree, sign and follow the confidentiality rules.
- Each member of the group must pledge/commit to conceal all information related to the members and not to infiltrate them outside the group. This information is for members only.
- Rules of confidentiality are critical to preserving safety, respect and creating trust and a secure environment that allows individuals to express their problems and share their feelings.
- Group counseling addresses general topics of interest to individuals. However, regarding/ As for special topics, it is recommended to go to individual counseling at the Student Counseling Center
